The pattern is a little brief and I had a little bit of a time following it…mostly because I kept reading the wrong row. I would not say it is poorly written. I think it just might be a little challenging for a beginner.

It turned out super cute! I really love it. I just hope it fits.

Repeated Row 4, seven times instead of 5 to make hat deeper. I tend to be a tight crocheter.
