Notes

Test knitting this.

SUPER CUTE sweater!!!! Love the style and the easy fit will make this a staple for my spring and summer.

I kind of wish I had picked a springier color for this sweater though I do really like the yarn. My row gauge was a little tighter so I did a few more repeats. The ribbing at the bottom is a little loose. The sweater is short enough that it shouldn’t cause any inconveniences. I had to steam block with an iron (even though I did a full wet block) to get the Wave Lace pattern to open up and flatten out the shoulder seams better. This is one of those (very) rare occasions where I think the sweater looks better on me than the form.

-- I did one extra cable repeat
-- I did two extra sleeve repeats before starting the Wave Stitch pattern
-- Leave a very long tail after the finishing the Upper Back (first side) for seaming shoulder and bind off
-- After finishing Upper Front, cut yarn leaving a tail long enough to seam shoulder and bind off (I seamed with this first but I’m probably doesn’t matter which side you start with.

04/16/13 - Whoa! That was the most kitchener stitch I’ve ever done in one sitting!

04/15/13 - So close to being done. I just need to sew the shoulders together.
