Notes

UPDATE: Though the hat looks small on Jackson (also modeling my Death Race) in the pic, mother claims there is plenty of room to grow. I hope so, he’s only 2 mos old here. :-)

After finishing the two hats for my boys I decided I needed to make one for my friend that just had a little boy.

-- Used fingering weight yarn
-- Knit according to Small
-- Started crown shaping at 4 inches from cast on edge
-- No button hole. I’m thinking of sewing the flap up some how.
-- Just over 5” from cast on edge to top of hat
-- 6” across along garter stitch brim

11/28/10 - Found a button at MSK! Now just need some pics and I can mail this little guy off.

11/12/10 - I don’t like these colors together as much as the Malabrigo hats…but I was trying to use stash yarn. It still turned out cute. Now I have to figure out how I’m gonna keep the flap flipped up.
