Notes

These will be samples for My Sister Knits. I don’t know if I’m gonna make two or three of these.

I could only stand to make 2 of these because there is so much finishing work. It’s not hard…it’s just seemed endless. It is worth it…they turned out super cute! I had already dropped off the first doll before I finished the second doll so I didn’t get a pic of them together.

NOTES:

-- Stuff the head a few rounds after splitting for the arms…less yardage to have to push the stuffing through.

08/31/10 - Oh man is there a lot of stuff to knit after the body. The head and body are the quickest part of the knitting. Then the rest seems to take forever! Yes, it’s worth it.

07/19/10 - Wow…this is going to take longer than I expected. I finished knitting the first doll (Samira)…it just needs a face. I’ve just past the arm split off of the body on the second doll.

07/14/10 - The construction of this doll is pretty cool. This has been a quick knit so far. I made it down to the crotch and legs in one night.
