OMG…this is so cute! I love it! This could be the best hat yet, on me. :-) Mine didn’t come out nearly as slouchy as the pattern pic b/c I tend to be a tight knitter.

I love this color. But did it ever bleed! I could not get the water to ever go clear after soaking the hat. Despite the bleeding, I still love this colorway!

NOTES:

-- Brim is knit perpendicular to hat/rise.
-- I used a second set of circs when I started on the brim to prevent undue stress at the tab join.
-- Definitely use the same yarn on the buttons that was used to knit the hat b/c you sew buttons on both sides of the brim.

07/11/10 - Super quick hat! I love the texture. And the construction of this hat makes for an interesting knit that won’t bore…it’s pretty cool. I just need sew on buttons after it’s blocked.
