07-24-2025

Cast on 100 stitches using cable cast on and US 5 needle to allow for more stretchy neck binding.

Switched to US 2 for 1x1 rib. First time using the Chiagoo Shorty set. One of the needles disconnected on the second round. Bit of a pain to pick up black ribbing. Torqued the needle very tight using the supplied pin. After 1 round the needle was loose again. Retorqued and so far 4 rounds and the needle stayed put.

To make the top more interesting, used the black yarn for the neck, sleeve and bottom rib.

Pattern was easy to follow.
