Giving this a Medium difficulty given the unorthodox - and remarkably clever - neckband approach. As others have noted, follow directions EXACTLY and don’t over think (my usual problem). You are starting the neckline in the center of the back of the neck, working in revSS perpendicular to the back as you join the neckline to the back. When you reach the shoulder stitches, the piece naturally turns and revSS is now parallel to the lace sts (think sock gusset) working down the front left. Now, this does mean that the shoulder does not have the strength of a joined seam to hold up the weight of the garment, so be sure you are using a lightweight yarn, like Elsebeth Lavold Silky Wool - perfect for this. There is lots of stretch both vertically and horizontally.

A few “extras” to review for this project:
1) provisional cast on: I used (my favorite) crochet cast on; worked fine although I did have to undo the entire provisional cast on when I went to work the left side of the neck. I just put the right side stitches on a holder for later.

2) ssp, opposite of P2tog. Slip first st knitwise, second st knitwise; return these 2 sts to L needle. Purl to BACK of those 2 sts.

3) remember, when directions say to Slip 1, assume purlwise unless told otherwise.

4) Joining Neckband to Neckline, it may help to read the last few words as “…together using K2TBL, S1 wyif, S1, turn.” (I added wyif)

5) I had a little difficulty with the directions/left front lace band and had to fudge just a tiny bit.
