Notes

This gal is clearly not a knitter and while the terms like “bundle” (meaning hank or skein)was grating, this was true to its name: a 30 minute infinity scarf. I wanted to try arm knitting. I wondered if it would be an easy way to introduce children to knitting. I also thought it would be a nice chunky accessory. I tell you, I thought at first I was learning to knit all over again. For someone with nearly 100 projects under her belt (counting those pre-Ravelry), I could not for the life of me figure out how to cast on! I was reliving that afternoon so many years ago when I taught myself how to knit with Stitch N Bitch! The video was confusing until the camera was placed behind her. I realize I could’ve grabbed a spare pair of needles and yarn to figure it out, but it is what it is. Once I remembered how to cast on (so strange), I was off and running. I started wondering, could I do cables? Would it be worth it? What about garter stitch, how am I purling??? This project borked my brain. Needless to say, I enjoyed myself and I do think this is cute and wearable!

Also, if I ever need a fishing net during the apocalypse, I got it handled!!!

The Phoenix Azalea color way (pink) I left open as a scarf/shawl. I ran out of yarn to sew it up!
