I had these yarns on hand, stash busting!

CO for S size, with size 8 needles to give ample room to do a twisted stitch rib with size 7 needles. All of the color work is on US 8, switching to US 7 with the beginning of the crown.

I was quite alarmed at how long this hat was getting, but I realized as I started on the crown that the pattern states it should be 24 cm before decreasing. That’s almost 9.5 inches! I am at just 24 cm with my first row of MC and will go ahead and place my markers.
