I measured a 5 yd warp of 400 ends in 3 bouts. I prepared a starch solution of 2 tablespoons potato starch in 2 quarts of water. Brought it to a gentle boil, then dunked each bout in the liquid. Let them drip for 5-10 minutes, then rolled in a bath towel to squeeze out moisture. Hung to dry, with 2 lb weights on each bout.

First impression: this worked fantastically well!
