Notes

When I finished the first skein I put the sweater on a chord tried it on. I decided it was a good size for a yoke. I could have added an inch one more orangy color but I decided to take a risk that I won’t end up with a cropped top. That is about 48 rows of pattern

My row gauge was short 8 rows per inch instead of desired 7. Could have put extra row in yoke between the eyelets. I ended up short on overall length of yoke so knitextra 2 rows before increase row.

09-05-2024

The garter hem was trying to flip out while I was binding off so I ripped that border. Now I am trying Patty Lyon’s trick of slip stitch every other stitch in the stockinet row prior to border. See Modern Daily Knitting Ask Patty: What the Flip” How To article from December 2, 2020.
