October 2008 - June 2010: Thinking
I got a bag of mini strands of KPPPM when I was at Koigu’s farm in October 2008. The colours are GEORGEOUS.
And I knew I had to make something special, really perfect.
Cardigan in patchwork technique?
Sewater?
Blanket? Which type of patches?
When I finished my other blanket made from sock yarn leftovers I decided I have to do another blanket.

End of May 2010
Decision done - the blanket will be made from hexagons with a black frame. I want to have the impression of stained glass windows.

June, 12th
Done 8 hexagons so far and love it.

July, 14th
16 or 17 hexagons done - I am already scared of sewing together. BUt the blanket will look GREAT!

August, 7th
30 Hexagons done
Still love to make it. But I am getting nervous about the sewing or crochteing.

October 2011 - READY!
Well, finally it is done.
And I love it. Looks great, brings up the stunning colors - and it is reversible!
It was my intention from the beginning to make this blanket for this chair (we have a black cat playing in the garden a lot…… chair needs some protection!)
