I’ve had this old reversible A&F knit beanie for close to 10 years now and it’s ridiculous comfortable. Unfortunately, the moths got to it the last time it was in storage and now there are ugly chewed holes all over it, rendering it pretty much unwearable. I couldn’t bear to throw it out so it sat in the drawer until I started crocheting again. Decided that the best way to fix this thing up was to give it a new layer of appliques in a floral/leaf motif. It’s no longer as inconspicuous and simple as it used to be, but it’s wearable again!
