Like I said, this is take two of the Once Upon a Time lace tam. This one’s for me.

I used 2.5s for the entire thing and it still turned out on the roomy side, thanks to my loose knitting. It’s a comfortable size for fitting in hair and pulling over my ears, though, so that’s okay.

More disconcerting was the fact that I ran out of yarn during the last inch of knitting from the end, so had to run out and get some more pink alpaca. The store didn’t have the old color anymore, so I ended up with a contrasting lighter spot of pink at the very top of the head. It gives a vaguely bullseye effect, but otherwise isn’t that offending, I guess.

Now, to find a nice lace pattern for gloves and scarf to make this into an entire set.
