Planning took 2-3 hours for me and felt quite effortful. I chose a fingering yarn (US size 4 and size 3). I’m also on the smaller side of XS than the pattern describes.

I started with 106 stitches for sleeve bottoms. I will come back and update how many stitches I started for the body.

Pattern knitting has clear instructions and easy to follow. But I had trouble with neck reduction because my math for the neck didn’t really line up with the instructions. I also didn’t quite figure out exactly how the vertical opening on the neck was made. Mine came out as a round oval shape. Picking up stitches along the neck was challenging. It could be that I was rushing to finish it and I never really learned properly how to pick up stitches when there are ridges and patterns involved.

Open to recommendations from more experienced knitters for next time I make something like this dress.

Not perfectly made but still really happy that I did it! Really glad to have learned so much along the way!
