My first scarf for my father was a Noro striped scarf - pretty, but I think it’s too scratchy. So it’s MadTosh pashmina for scarf #2 - pure luxury and so soft and smooshy!

I cast on 30 extra stitches to make the scarf wider.

The beginning is a bit tricky - use the chart for help. Mark pattern repeats in the chart, and placing stitchmarkers for the pattern repeats really helps. I just counted the rows, but you could also mark out on the pattern repeats where to w&t.

Once you’ve figured out the pattern it really is a mindless knit… I really need to sit down and finish this up so it doesn’t turn into another endless project…
