The self-striping really worked out well in this pattern - plus it’s way easier than changing colors and knitting jogless stripes. The Bouillabaisse is soft, perfect for baby items.

I knit the garter stitch part using 2.5mm needles, and then the remaining hat 2.75.

Unfortunately the munchkin has a big noggin, so this hat only fit him up to month 4. Oh well, now I have the perfect excuse to knit another baby hat.
