Passepartout
I used the light grey as a passepartout: on the neckband and for the edges on the sleevs and the body. The grey gather the sweater and mark it’s endings.

Stripes
After joining to knit in round I started to knit stripes to get a bit more “air”:
MC: 4 rounds
CC: 1 round (light grey - almost the same gray as in the speckled yarn)

Modifications

• Made the armholes deeper - 5 inc
• I used a knitted bind off to accentuate the endings

The beginning

• I considered using provisional cast on, but this would have given a too loose shoulder “seam”.
• To get a a loose cast on I held two needles together for the shoulders.
