I wanted to make a chunky, elastic sweater in garter stitch with my scrap yarn. The idea for the construction of the neckline is borrowed from Stockholm Sweater by PetiteKnit. Other than that, I am pretty much making up the pattern as I go and I’m constantly measuring on myself to adjust it.
To keep my garter stitch gauge even, I am not joining body or sleeves to knit in the round. I would normally prefer that, but here I prefer to go back and forth and stitch it together afterwards.
I am not settled on the collar. I had thought about a bigger one, ribbed and folded, but maybe I will stick with this one.
I have two strands on the needle most of the time.
5,5 mm for garter stitch
3,5 mm for ribbing
