Yarn held double.

No pattern for the hat, just:

  • Cast on 64
  • Some 2x2 ribbing
  • Some 2x2 broken ribbing (one row k, one row k2p2)
  • Decrease in pattern in 8 sections

Booties roughly as per pattern, except for adding some of the broken ribbing in the stockinette section on top to match the hat, and not bothering with the turn-down cuff.
