TOTALLY enabled into buying this yarn by the podcast world! I’m not normally a fan of the self-patterning “faux-isles” but I fell for the plain sections and bands and dots of this particular line, and ordered a ball on eBay. (Very affordable, even shipped from Germany to New Zealand!)

I usually knit toe-up, but since leg length is negotiable and foot length is not and I want the heel patterning to be on the heel, I’m doing these top-down.

P.S. I know Sockenwolle just means sock wool, but it’s such a nice sounding word that’s how I’m thinking of these socks!
