One extra repeat added, and smaller needles, as my yarn was thinner than the pattern.

I used the alpaca yarn to line the brim as this handspun is a bit crunchy:

  1. cast on very loosely (so loosely it looked like sloppy loops - no worries, it’s hidden)
  2. knit stockinette until my little ball of yarn ran out
  3. changed to the grey yarn and started pattern ribbing
  4. folded over and sewed down loosely

Honestly I’m not super happy with this hat, the yarn was very unevenly spun and the style isn’t really for me. No fault of the pattern though! :) I’ll probably donate it somewhere.
