Yarn: Impressive heathered colours on the Alice Starmore yarns, they played so well together. The Orkney Angora Elsness is wonderfully smooth and easy to work with even with its lovely halo and small gauge. Used the following quantities:

A - Poppy (red) = 12,0gr
B - Whim (yellow) = 11,0gr
C - Selkie (dk blue) = 11,5gr
D - Pebble Beach (blue) = 10,0gr
E - Machair (green) = 10,0gr
F - Solan Goose (white) = 10,5gr

for a total of 65,0gr + the 1,5gr of Orkney Angora

Pattern: Another wonderfully clear and workable pattern by Kate Davies that produces a beautiful hat. This had been at the top of my queue for 100s of years and I am so glad to have finished it.
