This is being made as a baby shower gift for a childhood friend who is expecting in May. The baby’s name is going to be Violet, since her mother’s favorite color if purple, so I choose the colors accordingly.

Final Thoughts
This was fun and easy to put together, though I was getting burned out on it by the end. I wish I had had the time to make a proper border on the ends, but chose to do a simple double crochet border since the time available was running short.

The mommy to be was very pleased.
