I ended up finishing the piece and making it into a shrug. It’s really cute! I’ll try to upload a picture. :)

6/17 - I keep plugging away and I feel I should really be done with this soon!! Stealing moments to crochet and the pattern feels really comfortable. Blocking will be crucial with this project and I can’t wait to do so!

6/12 - So now I have pretty much memorized the stitch pattern. I didn’t expect that to happen! Still a nice, relaxing project. I want to do my next one in Bamboo So Fine. I will treat myself soon!

6/5 - Have finished 5 full pattern repeats. This is the point where I need to switch to the other side. No idea how this will affect the pattern… I am thinking it will be more of an oblong square. I would love to work this in Kristin’s yarn next time. I didn’t have any on hand but this pattern makes me excited to try it!

5/31 - Have finished 3 full pattern repeats. When I get to about halfway through the cake I will weigh the piece and the yarn cake to see how much more I should do.

5/26 - Only done a couple of repeats. So many samples and of course arm pain has been holding me back! It’s okay though. Great project!!

5/14 - just divided. To work pattern as written it would be 13 pattern reps.

This pattern is off the chain! I mean seriously, it is really really really good. :) So much fun, fresh techniques, and impeccably well written.
