Notes

Unblocked: 34” circumference x 10” deep
Blocked: 44” circumference x 11” deep

CO 336 (two extra repeats of 6 stitches)

SPOILER: You can still get this done with only two skeins. Pretty sure that even one more repeat would’ve required at least part of a third skein.

Addictive. This is a fact. I spent the whole cowl telling myself I could quit anytime. “Just one more…”

First skein ran out near the end of Round 32 (two rounds into the 6th repeat) so we might be cutting it close. Fingers crossed.

Second skein: 117g

BO using JSSBO with US 8 (5.0mm) DPN. Makes a lovely, stretchy, ruffly finished edge but takes several hours.

Finished BO in the backseat on the way to Tampa airport with a dog on my lap.

Only 4.5g to spare. It’s what we in the Industry call a “squeaker”.

It does need blocking, just to get some of the length to show. Unblocked, it does wrap double, but snuggly, and it’s very tall. Not that I mind. I like a tall cowl and I expect some of that height will sacrifice itself in the service of length. It’s what happens.

It got taller and a little longer. I love it.
