Sunshine Summons, Take 2: Electric Bugaloo (featuring an obvious Donovan reference)

I promised the hat would rise again. Here it is.

• Used 1 x skein of Stratosphere — Charm
• 107.1g to begin
• 16.1g remaining
• 91.0g used
• CO 108 using long-tail CO on US 5
• Knit 2x2 rib brim for 28 rows/~4”
• Switched to US 7 for body
• Knit 1 extra 7-row cable repeat, so that the Crown, beginning with the last CF6 round, started on Round 46.
• Switched to US 7 dpns for Round 51: [k4, p2tog, k2, p2tog], using four 6” needles. 18sts/needle
• For last round (54), switched to US 6 dpns, and used ssk instead of k2tog so I wouldn’t have to deal with that offset.
• Currently blocking
• Were I to knit another one of these in the same weight yarn, now that I know how much yarn it takes, I’d probably add a couple of rows to the rim just to make the hat a little taller.
