I participated in the Dyed Sock Blank Swap 4. The theme for this was “My Favorite..”. Tinki gifted me with the FABULOUS creation.
Logan, her son, painted my sock blank. He even wrote me a little note. So cute! It was dyed with Easter egg dyes and set with vinegar. I got some Earl Grey Tea and fruit snacks, which I will be consuming very soon. She also gave me a LeSportSac. It has penguins and gnomes on it. She also sent me a notebook, notepad and note cards with a seaside theme along with stitch markers and dark chocolate.
I am very grateful and thankful for her generosity and to have a sock blank made by a little munchkin is awesome.

2/10/10: Holy crap! I kept putting this off thinking I would find the notes that I made on exactly where I was and how many repeats that I had done when I left off. I give up!!! I can’t find it. I am going to have to sit down tonight and count stitches and rows to get this figured out. I want these socks done so bad! OMG!!!! It took me over an hour to figure out where I was. What have I learned???? Finish what I start and don’t set it down.

2/12/10: Finished one last night. Tonight, I will get the other cast on. Finally!!!

3/29/10: Setting up the heel. What is taking me so long?!!
