Another winner!!! Way to go, Meg.
1/25/10: I have had to frog this twice. This yarn is difficult to frog. This second time of frogging, I have ruined the yarn and will need to order more. The fuzziness gets caught on itself. It is difficult to see the wraps with this yarn. Part of it might be the lighting and/or need of glasses?
5/22/10: Finally got yarn to restart this. Yes, I did end up having trouble with the eyes. HaHa. I am getting older says the doc. :( I didn’t get the same yarn that came with the kit. I got this from affordable yarns on ebay for 2.80/150 yards. I figured that since I probably wouldn’t use this yarn again, I didn’t want to spend a fortune on it. We shall see how it turns out. PS: To frog this kind of yarn I read that you should put it in the freezer for a couple of hours and then it will frog easily.
5/26/10: Finally cast on again with new yarn. After finishing I realized 2 things. 1) this acrylic yarn was twice as thick as the original that came with the kit and 2) I knit the top of the sock too long and had to fold it down to see the top of the sock blocker. I do like the sock, but, definitely would have liked the look of the silk yarn better.
