I can’t be bothered to enter all the details for all the different colours that I’ve used in this. However the yarn used is from Its a Stitch Up, and their Nature Lovers Yarn Club subscription. I had it last year and planned to knit lots of new socks but knitted a few and I don’t really need that many. So I looked around for a pattern to use the yarn that I’d got and found this.

So the yarn is 4ply ethically sourced Merino that is hand dyed and is luxuriously soft.

Because I’m using yarn that I already had I have had to change the colour way a bit, but I think it will all work. I’ve done the collar so far and they all look good together so I am going to press on.

So I’ve been carrying on with this, it’s sloe going. But I have to say I am super happy with the colours I’m using, I think because they are variegated themselves it helps.

I’m using the Knit Companion app and I have opted for the paid subscription and it has been totally worth it. I’ve been able to make loads of personalisations on the pattern, including altering the colours on the charts somewhat so as to make them easier to follow with my colour adjustments.

I have had to tink back a couple of times because I’ve made errors. But that is due to me knitting when I’m tired and in an evening and I don’t have the best light.

Super happy with how it’s turning out so far.
