So - I took one empty coffee jar and decided that it would look lovely hanging in my garden with a candle inside so voila.

Ive had the idea milling around in my head for a while - and im quite pleased with how its turned out. Its not perfect - but I know what to change for the next one.

It is a first attempt (a prototype, if you like) and I haven’t written the pattern down yet, but I know where I need to adjust etc. so will try to work up a pattern when I make the next one.

My plan is to do a half dozen and hang them around my garden to create a lovely little sanctuary :-)

25/06/2014 I made another, using a larger coffee jar which my daughter has painted. I cant wait to see it with a lit candle inside!
