My first large (and I mean large!) blanket, which I am making for ME! Its an ongoing project that I keep going back to - it will be finished one day!

So I have been working on this on and off for about 4 months now, and I can hardly believe it is nearly finished! A couple more stripes and it will be done :-(
I have thoroughly enjoyed making it - its been a real labour of love - so much so that I shall be starting another pretty much straight away!

I still haven’t decided on a border yet - there is just so many options I am considering! Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

09/06/2014 - Nearly though - just got the arduous task of weaving all the tails in (I hate this part) then adding a border and voila! Ill post a pic when its done. :-)

07/08/2014 - All done! I love it. Its bright and colourful and cheery and I love it! Ive added just a very simple border of red in a dc stitch, around 3 times to edge it, which I think looks great.
