Making this gorgeous kindle cover for my mama for her birthday - so far, I love the texture!

Well, I finally finished it! Yay! It took me 4 attempts (yay for perseverance) to get the stitch right - my advice to anyone trying this stitch - Count your stitches!!!! I found the easiest way was to use a stitch marker at each half way mark to ensure my front post trebles were straight (I had a tendency to stitch askew).

I also used a larger hook, and added 7 stitches to my foundation chain, using 35ch as my foundation (so the cover was 34 stitches wide, plus one turning chain). I found that this gave me a nice sized cover, plus an evenly spaced pattern to both front and back of the cover.

I’m really pleased with the finished product. I love the puff stitch button. I hope my Mum loves it too. :-)
