I always wanted to learn how to make a hood. This was my chance. Since I was using the yarn repurposed from an old sweater, and the original yarn was discontinued, I had to improvise to actually finish this hoodie.
It turned out that Rowan Alpaca Classic in Feather Grey MIst colourway together with Garnstudio Drops Alpaca in light grey are almost undistinguishable from the discontinued Rowan Alpaca Cotton.
The consturction seems to be easy and streaghtforward, but there are some subtle details, like false seems front and back, interesting shoulders, ingenious hood made with numerous short rows.
The finished hoodie is light but warm, and really comfortable.
