Since I had the same yarn as in the book I didn’t change anything and just followed directions. One slight modification - provisional CO for the sleeves that was unraveled at the end to pick up stitches for the cuffs. Otherwise - no changes. Used up almost all 13 balls of the Alpaca Merino DK. The yarn is very soft and springy, and can be worn next to skin. At the same time it is extremely stretchy (pay attention when you block it, you may add a size or two) and snaggy.
The sweater’s construction is well thought and flattering. I would love to have it in some other yarn, maybe in cotton. Easy and fast knit.
