Pattern Testing the new updated version of this pattern, which is now called Paula the Panda Beanie. The designer made changes to the look of the pattern so the Panda hat now uses multicolour yarn for the nose, hat edging and pom poms. Also the eye accents were made with a colour other than black, although as you’ll see I choose to make mine black to give it more of a Panda look.

45mm (yellow) Clover Pom Pom Maker

Cotton Yarn used for all the hat apart from the edging, nose and pompoms. For this I used a nice silky soft acrylic yarn that I was given, as I felt it wasn’t as thick and these yarns don’t mention yarn weight I doubled up the yarn strands instead. For the pompoms though I just wrapped the yarn as usual (single strand).
