Notes

Our knitter had fun playing around with this great, basic sock pattern. We love that it offers the flexibility of knitting top-down or toe-up depending on the knitter’s preference.

We decided to go toe-up as our knitter wanted to play yarn chicken with two mini-skeins of the Leo & Roxy Basics Sock yarn. In the end she used every last bit of the Raspberry Ripple so you might want to buy either the 100g skein or 2 minis just to be safe.

These are the adjustments she made to the pattern:

After inserting the scrap yarn for the afterthought heel, knit for 16 rows/approx 2.5cm/1” before switching to accent colour for the cuff. Worked a 1x1 rib cuff for 2cm/0.75”.

We like how sporty this little ankle sock is, and think it is perfect for the warmer weather that is starting to come to the island!
