At the Beehive, we have long enjoyed a bold, colour-blocked wrap. Crossroads Wrap is a fresh take on a classic aesthetic.

The original version of this pattern featured basic intarsia. We’ve rereleased the pattern with a new striped version, letting knitters choose their own journey between the two techniques.

We chose Filcolana Saga for its loftiness and bloom which keeps this wrap from being overly heavy. Our sample used 3 balls of #121 - Port (MC), 2 balls of #950 - Winter Grey (CC1), 25 m of #210 - Sorrel (CC2), and 1 ball of #213 - Fuchsia (CC3).

The Crossroads Wrap is designed to maximize the meterage of Saga, but the size is easily adaptable to suit your preferences. If substituting yarn, we recommend a light or lofty lace- to fingering-weight yarn that will give a cohesive fabric at the written gauge.
