Notes

A cute cropped pullover that’s perfect for fall layering. Felix features a lovely lace detail at the raglan increases.

We knit our sample in soft and squishy Berroco Mercado. This 100% Peruvian Highland Wool knits up quickly and has great stitch definition.

We knit the second size (43.5” bust circumference) and used four skeins of Mercado in 4135 - Aloe. This sweater is a great example of the importance of blocking. When blocking sweaters and other garments, make sure to block your project slightly bigger than the desired dimensions as wool will bounce back.

After blocking, our sweater tightened up to a gauge of 14.5 stitches per 4”. That half stitch doesn’t seem like a lot, but it resulted in the sweater being 3” smaller than desired bust circumference. Thanks to the woolly properties of Mercado, it was easy to reblock our sample to the desired size.

See our selection of Mercado on our website.
