We return again and again to this pattern for cozy felted slippers—this is actually our third sample pair. This is the sort of project that you can make as a gift for nearly everyone, and the number of colour combinations in basically infinite. Plus, the felting makes it easy to get the exact fit you want, because you can try it on and felt it until it is the right size.

Our sample used six balls of Drops Snow, two balls of Aquamarine Mix for the upper and four balls of Petrol for the edging and sole.

For this pair, we opted to use a single strand of bulky yarn instead of two strands of worsted as the pattern suggests. We also chose to do the version with the “bumper” around the sole.
