This pullover has lovely details—and optional advanced techniques—but is still simple enough to be an ideal choice for first-time garment knitters. For these reasons and because it has an inclusive size range, it is the sweater we have chosen for our My First Sweater class.

For our sample, we included the Latvian braid and mock cable details and chose the a-line shaping option.
