This is a perfect sized beanie toque; just what one of my boys told me he’d like. The cabled body of the toque is done in the Loden in a dark charcoal, while the felted tweed was doubled to create that great contrasting edge. Any scrap yarn would work, since it just takes a small bit of wool of work it.
