In warm weather it is helpful to have a light coverup to keep the sun off your shoulders or to protect you from an evening breeze. Grenada is a stylish solution to the quandary of summer layering. Made from a cotton–linen–viscose blend, this short poncho will work with sundresses as well as with a t-shirt, and the long monochromatic ombre effect of Berroco Isola makes it just that much more engaging to knit. We love watching the colour gradually change as we work.

Our sample used three balls of Berroco Isola in Capri. We chose to knit a medium size, and extended the length by 2” to take advantage of more of the beautiful deep blue colour.
