We think you’ll agree that this soft and squishy blanket will make a cheerful gift for a new baby! For our sample, we picked one dark and one light shade each of the three primary colours, updating a classic childhood colour combination. We simply knit all of each colour before starting the next, always making sure to start the new colour at the beginning of a right-side row to avoid jogging.

Our sample used six balls of Tropical Lane Il Punto Forte. We did our blocks in colours 150 (dark blue), 46 (light blue), 110 (red), 40 (orange), 356 (yellow), and 611 (light yellow) in order from bottom to top (as shown in photos).
