How cute are these little owls! Making Magazine 10 sold out so quickly that I didn’t have time to post about these owls before it was gone! However we are now restocked with a few more copies- so be sure you grab one if you absolutely have to knit up these sweet Love Owls.

We knit the smaller owl in Karisma to showcase a machine washable wool suitable for a loved stuffy that might have to make a few trips through the washing machine.

For the larger owl we used Woolstok and used the leftover gold from the small owl to add the embroidery details. This yarn is so beautiful to work with, our knitter couldn’t resist doing one of the owls in this yarn.
