Our sample maker used two different hook sizes to achieve gauge. She is a tight crocheter, so she used a 5 and 6mm hook, however we recommend 4.5 and 5mm hooks for the average crocheter.

To achieve proper fit with this toque, ensure you meet row gauge over the ribbing fabric! Our maker was a little bit tight so our Adult Small is a bit snug around the brim.
