This hat is cozy and fun! We used every last bit of the yarn in 1 skein, we used the leftovers for gauging.

To achieve the proper stitch gage on the ribbing, we used a 5.5 mm hook. This stitch wants to be tight, so makers should be careful to keep it loose!

We needed to go up in size to a 5 mm hook to get gauge in the main pattern, but other makers have found the 4.5mm works just fine for them!
