We do, however, have a tip to ensure your good success with this pattern! When you are measuring your hat before you begin the crown, be sure to allow for the drapey-ness of the garter stitch. One way to do this is to measure the hat-in-progress while hanging it rather than laying it flat, thus accommodating for the growth of the hat from gravity. If you don’t take the lengthening into account, you run the risk of not having enough yarn!
