The perfect project for a skein of sock yarn that’s too special to wear on your feet. The Sockhead Slouch Hat is a great project for knitting on the go.

Our sample use 2/3 of a skein of Ancient Arts Socknado in the colour ‘Geysers’. We love how variegation worked up. We used the remaining amount of yarn to make a KnitNat’s Fun Baby Hat.

To ensure we could make matching adult and baby hats from the same skein, we only knit 5.5” stockinette before starting the crown decreases. Our sample can be worn as a fitted hat with the brim folded or a slouchy hat with the brim unfolded.
