We love self-patterning sock yarns for baby knits! We resampled our popular Sunshine & Rainbows set using soft and beautiful Onni.

In order to get both arms to match, we pulled a few yards of yarn in order to match the stripe sequence.

You need two balls of sock yarn for this size, however size 1 (6-12 months) will only need 1 ball for both the hat and the cardi.

The pattern lets the knitter decide where to place the buttonholes. We put ours at the end of the row, and added 4 buttonholes total.
